Refund policy

Every Bergadler piece leaves us with care. If something falls short of that standard — whether it's a fit issue, a defect, or simply a change of mind — we've made the return process straightforward and transparent.

Return window: 7 days from delivery · Defect report window: 48 hours · Refund credit: 5–7 business days

i. Return Eligibility

We accept returns on eligible items within 7 days of the confirmed delivery date. Given the nature of apparel, we maintain a clear standard — not to create friction, but to preserve quality and hygiene for every customer.

Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were delivered: unworn, unwashed, tags intact, and in original packaging.

Eligible for return:

- Unworn and unwashed garments

- All original tags attached

- Returned within 7 days of delivery

- Original packaging intact

- Accompanied by Order ID proof

Not eligible:

- Worn, washed, or altered items

- Tags removed or missing

- Requests beyond the 7-day window

- Items marked as final sale at checkout

- Items damaged after delivery by the customer

Please note: If the item shows signs of wear, fragrance, or washing — or if packaging and accessories are missing — we reserve the right to decline the return and send the item back to you.

ii. How to Initiate a Return

Please contact our support team before dispatching any item. Returns shipped without prior confirmation cannot be guaranteed for processing.

01 — Write to us at support@bergadler.co.in or message us on WhatsApp at +91 6361220922 within 7 days of your delivery date.

02 — Include your Order ID, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason. For defect or damage claims, clear photographs of the product are mandatory.

03 — Our team will review your request within 1–2 business days and respond with a return confirmation, packaging instructions, and the delivery address.

04 — Pack the item securely in its original packaging and mention your Order ID clearly on the parcel. Use a trackable courier service for your protection.

05 — Share the tracking number with us once dispatched. We'll confirm receipt and keep you updated through every step.

iii. Refund Timeline

Once the returned item reaches us and passes quality inspection, refunds are processed without delay.

Quality inspection: 1–2 business days after item is received. You will be notified of approval or rejection.

Refund initiation: Within 2 business days of approval. Issued to the original payment method.

Credit to account: 5–7 business days, depending on your bank. Applicable to UPI, card, and net banking.

Refunds are issued exclusively to the original payment method. Cash on Delivery orders are refunded via bank transfer — please share your account details when initiating the return.

Shipping charges: Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return arises from a defect, damage, or a fulfilment error on our part. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility in all other cases.

iv. Exchanges

We facilitate size-based exchanges for the same product, subject to stock availability. If you need a different size or an alternate colour variant of the same piece, please reach out and we'll make every effort to accommodate.

Exchange requests follow the same process as returns. Once the original item is received and inspected, we dispatch the replacement. If your preferred size or variant is unavailable, a full refund will be issued instead.

One exchange per order: Exchanges are limited to one per order and apply to the same product only. For a different product, please return the original for a refund and place a new order at your convenience.

v. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Every Bergadler order is inspected before dispatch. Should you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, or different from what you ordered, we will resolve it fully — at no cost to you.

Please report such issues within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of both the item and the outer packaging.

Defective or damaged: Full refund or replacement offered. Return shipping arranged at our cost. No additional charges to the customer.

Wrong item received: Correct item dispatched as priority. Pickup arranged and paid by us. Refund issued if the item is unavailable.

vi. Get in Touch

For return requests, order queries, or anything else — our team is available on all business days and aims to respond within 24 hours. Include your Order ID and item photos in your first message — it helps us respond without back-and-forth.
